★★★★

After a few weeks with IKEA TÄRNABY Table Lamp, the thing I notice most is that the build feels solid. It works well for evening ambient light. Bulb choice makes a big difference to the final look, although overall I am satisfied with it.

I wanted something dependable for a reading corner and this has fit that need well. The warm glow makes the room feel much cozier. My only real complaint is that It is more ambient light than task lighting. For the price I am still happy.

Overall my experience has been positive. the dimmer is smooth. I have mainly been using it for bedside lighting. The dark finish shows dust. Everything else has been pretty much as expected.

I have had enough time to use it properly now. the compact size works well beside the bed. It suits evening ambient light well. Bulb choice makes a big difference to the final look, but the overall quality and value still make sense to me.
